I show a DVD to my classroom called "Dying Wish"--deals with the ethical dilemmas of death, dying and the right to die. The latter portion portrays the emotions inside a hostel/hospice for AIDS patients. This section of the presentation affects my empathic side deeply...and to think that all of this suffering could have been avoided if we had been more enlightened, more informed and more courageous...
